Where do you ship from? 

Our handmade products are made and shipped from Saskatchewan, Canada. Our print-on-demand items (such as some mugs and posters - but not all) are generally drop-shipped from the appropriate vendor. So some orders may end up with multiple shipments if handmade items and drop-shipped items are included in the same order. Your parcel is generally shipped by Canada Post. However, in the event of a postal service strike, our system will be updated to show express courier options, which means your order will post likely be sent via Purolator. 

 

Do you have pickup options? 

Local: If you’re wanting to pickup your order in Meado Lake, SK we can make that happen. Please contact us ahead of time prior to ordering to make arrangements and we can give you a code so the system won’t charge you shipping.

Other Cities: We do sometimes travel through North Battleford to Saskatoon on occasion so if you live in either of those places, contact us ahead of time before you place an order if you want to try to arrange a pick-up/drop-off,  though often it will be faster just to have it shipped to you. 

Conventions: We do also allow orders from the website to be picked up from our booth at conventions we are attending. When available, this will show as an option during checkout.

All PICK-UPS - IMPORTANT NOTE: When picking up your order please have valid government issued photo ID available as well as your order confirmation info so we can make sure we are giving the right order to the right person. If someone else is going to be picking up your order please notify us in advance. That person will need to provide their ID that matches the name you gave us, and they will need to provide order confirmation info as well.

How do pre-orders work? 

Pre-orders are for when we are out of stock on an item (whether that’s a specific fabric, mug, or other supply) but you’d like us to process and order for you anyway because you’re willing to wait for it.

As we source Mythic Mugs and some other licensed items from licensed third party printers, to keep costs reasonable, we have to order in larger quantities. In terms of fabric, many of our fabrics we do get custom printed for us as well. When we run out, we have to get another bolt of fabric custom printed. That takes time. But that doesn’t mean you can’t still get something if you give us a bit of time.  

This generally means waiting until we have enough pre-orders for something to put an order in for it. The wait time can be anywhere from 6-8 weeks until we get in what we need to make your order. Then you’d need to simply add our standard order processing time on top of that, as we make your item and prepare it to be shipped to you. 

If we run into any delays, we will contact you. If time is a factor for you, please contact us before pre-ordering.

 

How soon can I expect my order to ship? 

Most items that you see in our shop are made to order. Occasionally we have a few on hand that we have made ahead, but we don't generally keep a large inventory. This allows us to much more easily customize the items to your needs. Our turnaround time varies depending on the item and your place in the queue. In general you can use the following as a very rough guideline: 

  • Pre-painted in-stock items (dice boxes, minis, etc.) and in-stock Dice Displays are usually ready to go within 2-7 days depending on the order queue ahead of you. 
  • Sewn items (dice bags, fabric trays, spell books) within 1-2 weeks (doubled during the holiday season due to demand)
  • You may need to add 3-6 weeks to our standard processing time if you’ve requested any personalization. If your order will take longer than that, you will be notified. 
  • Digital downloads - pretty much immediately after checkout. :D
  • Print-on-Demand items - varies by vendor, but usually only a few days to a week or so. 

 
How does custom painting work?

Custom painting orders are a bit different than simply having an in-stock item personalized. A custom order is prepared from scratch specifically for you. Often the processing time varies simply because of the number of other orders in line ahead of yours, the artists availability, the level of complexity of the custom work requested, etc. Therefore we can only provide a range of rough processing times.

Each hand painted item is unique unto itself, so while we may make duplicates of an item on request, due to the nature of painting by hand and the artists creativity, we cannot guarantee an exact replica of a previously painted work. We can get close, but not necessarily exact. 

Processing time for custom painting is 2-6 weeks for “artists choice” work, where you want something painted but don’t want to choose how it’s painted, and 4-12 weeks for custom painting where you are choosing the style, colour, etc.

You’ll need to include a good description with your custom order request. If the artists needs more detail than what is provided they will contact you. You’re welcome to provide additional information that doesn’t fit in the order notes field through the contact us form on the website. Please quote your order number in your message.

Is there any way to speed up processing time?

Processing times very greatly due to many factors. Between things like the number of orders in line ahead of you, the level of complexity of any order, supplies in stock, the size of an order, the artists availability, etc. we can only offer rough estimates.

As the bulk of our products are made to order, while things can be faster than the posted ranges, we cannot guarantee they will be. This is especially true during peak shopping seasons. 

Once in awhile a lucky customer will have received with their order, a promotional code that bumps their next order up to the front of the line. But those rare items are are rewards given with orders and they are not given frequently. 

If time is a factor for your order feel free to contact us prior to placing your order to discuss.  We may allow bumping of an order for a rush service fee, but that is also very rare and will only be handled on a case-by-case basis. 

 
How to I clean and care for my item?

Beverage Holder Mugs:  Wipe clean gently with a warm damp cloth and dry well. Do not use hot water, only cold or luke warm water.  Do not submerge in water. Not microwave safe. Not dishwasher safe. This is a decorative can holder, not a washable beverage cup. 

Dice Towers: Handle the tower by the base. Do not handle by the top or the stairs. Wipe clean gently with a damp cloth if needed and dry. Do not use hot water, only cold or luke warm water.  Do not submerge in water. This is a decorative piece and while it is protected with varnish and will withstand reasonable wear and tear, it is not indestructible. The tower can be reassembled with super glue if it comes unglued.
