Armoured Pint - Custom Hand Painted - Can Holder Tavern Mug

The armoured pint is a classic, hammered metal style tavern beverage can holder. This is a 3D printed item that is uniquely hand-painted with acrylics and protected with a few coats of varnish. Each mug is one of a kind, uniquely hand painted and is made to order. **Note this is a plastic, hand-painted 3D print, made to look like metal, it is not a metal mug.

Our mugs are perfect accessories for your game room, head table at your wedding, renaissance fair, or any larping or cosplay purpose. They can be ordered as blank (unpainted, unfinished), hand painted like one of the photos, painted at the artist's discretion, or custom painted to suit your needs.

This particular mug is made specifically to hold a tall can. With the openable riser insert which is included, it can also hold a standard size beverage can or a plastic beverage cup insert to use for other beverages such as water. The insert is not included, but can be selected as an add-on. You can create your custom variation by selecting different colours for both the wood and metallics, and your choice of finishing work. For other metal and wood colour/types or combinations that are not listed, please proceed with using the custom colour options and add notes to your order with additional information on the colours you are wanting. Feel free to contact us prior to placing your order to discuss. We can work with you to ensure your mug(s) are custom painted to suit your needs.

Finish Options

• New: Mug will be painted to appear as a new mug, with brighter metals. Protected with a satin varnish with some spot gloss on the brightest metal.
• Aged/Rustic: Mug will be painted to appear aged and well worn, and somewhat antiqued. A regularly, well used tavern mug. Protected with a matte varnish with spot satin on the brightest metal.
• Ancient/Rusted: Mug will be painted to appear ancient, with a lot of antiquing, wear and aging of the wood and metal. Some amount of rust and/or verdigris will also be added to give the effect of more significant aging. Protected with a matte varnish.

While we can replicate previous work at some level, due to the nature of hand painting work and the artists creativity, we cannot guarantee an exact match to something previously painted, though for these we can get pretty close. 

What is Included? 
An openable riser is included with the mug (see use instructions below). A plastic beverage cup insert can be selected as an add-on with your order.

How to Use
These are 3D printed with standard filament and not food grade plastic, therefore they are not intended to directly hold beverage liquids right in the mug. This is meant to hold cold or room temperature beverage cans only, no hot beverages.

It will hold a tall beverage can, or using the riser, a standard size beverage can, or a cup insert of similar shape and size to a can (as pictured).
